Hello everyone! It has been a while sense my last post due to the COVID-19 chaos going around. My family and I have been staying at home and are doing very well. I hope you all have been taking good care of each other and are doing great as well. It has been an amazing opportunity to spend more time together and enjoy some new activities indoors and outdoors with my little ones. After a long enough wait for a post here is a new look to help you style your blazer in a creative way.
Today, I am styling my very first boyfriend blazer from ShoeDazzle. Yes, you read it right! I am finally showcasing a few of their clothes and bags this month as so many of you requested. As you all know blazers are a classic layering item that never gets out of style. It is usually worn for work or social event, but to many of us this is a chic piece to go out and look stylish.
This blazer is longer than the traditional blazers and has a looser fit. For this particular look, I did something very nontraditional that I saw Camila Coelho do and personally, I am loving it! Instead of wearing blazer open with the typical top, I belted it! This trend is seen with a blazer as the top and nothing underneath, which is what I really wanted to do, but it wouldn’t be a good idea with this large belly, so maybe in a few months. Adding the gold GG belt made the black blazer pop and helped to give me a better figure. I styled it with ripped boyfriend jean and black pumps, but if you want this look a bit more classy I suggest plain skinny jeans. I absolutely love this look and will be repeating this trend with all my blazers, for sure! What do you think? Would you wear a blazer as a top?
